OUR STORY

Our goal has been to contribute and help the less fortunate regain their eyesight. Dr Michael Stefanescu has volunteered with Australian Health and Humanitarian aid since 2014 and each year has assisted with medical and humanitarian aid to people in countries like Cambodia and Vietnam. All of these people would not otherwise have access to medical care.

As a part of these yearly trips Dr Michael Stefanescu assists in delivering over 500 sight saving cataract surgeries that ultimately change the lives of these people.

At Eyecare Network for every pair of glasses that are sold a portion is donated to a charity close to our hearts that make a difference. We are truly grateful to be of service and your purchase at our clinic is helping to make a difference to many people’s lives.

In 2019 we also contributed to building a new surgical eye bus in Bali through The John Fawcett foundation.

We are excited to annouce we have rasied to date through our fundraising efforts and donations the amount of:

We will also continue to contribute $5 for each pair of glasses sold to help someone in need overseas.
Our goal is to raise $1,000,000 by 2030 which will equate to 5,000 cataract surgeries for the less fortunate in remote villages in Asia. Please help us helps others!
