Our Story
Eyecare Network was first established in 2008. Having grown up as a local.
Dr Michael Stefanescu our principal Optometrist decided to return to his roots and start a practice that can serve the local community that he grew up in. Our success has stemmed from our commitment and promise to give you the best and most comprehensive eye test that you have ever had. We do this by using the latest in eye care technology and we understand that each individual needs are different. We will then cater our treatment based on what is needed by you the patient. No stone is left unturned so that you can be assured that we covered all possible solutions.
Our Mission
Eyecare Network has been established to ensure all patients are provided with the highest standard of eye care as well as providing the best possible visual outcome with our premium range of corrective eyewear and contact lenses. Through our work we are providing an impact for our patients and the wider community through ongoing financial support and volunteering to help restore eye sight for the less fortunate.

Giving
Our goal has been to contribute and help the less fortunate regain their eyesight. Dr Michael Stefanescu has volunteered with Australian Health and Humanitarian aid since 2014 and each year has assisted with medical and humanitarian aid to people in countries like Cambodia and Vietnam. All of these people would not otherwise have access to medical care.
As a part of these yearly trips Dr Michael Stefanescu assists in delivering over 500 sight saving cataract surgeries that ultimately change the lives of these people.
