Our practice is committed to providing the highest level of eye care to you and your family. We invest in the latest equipment and our highly experienced optometrists practice evidence-based eye care. We take pride in thoroughly assessing and educating our patients. For us to continue to deliver this level of service, each consultation at our practice will incur a private fee. Most consultations will attract a Medicare rebate which can be easily processed in store at the time of payment.

Comprehensive Initial Exam $80

Vision testing with prescription check for glasses, binocular vision check, front and back eye health check with pupil dilation, eye pressure check and retinal imaging.

Medicare rebate $30-$60.

Note: Please allow up to 1 hour for your eye examination.

Diabetic Exam $130

Vision testing with prescription check for glasses, front and back eye health check with pupil dilation and pressure check. Optical coherence tomography (OCT) scan to aid in the early detection of diabetic macula oedema as well as glaucoma and macular degeneration.

Medicare rebate $60.

Glaucoma Exam $200

Vision testing with prescription check for glasses, eye pressure check, inspection of the eye’s drainage angle, optic nerve head assessment with Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) scan, central and peripheral vision assessment, corneal thickness measurement and digital retinal imaging.

Medicare rebate $30-$117.25.

Myopia Management Initial Exam $250

Vision testing with prescription check for glasses, binocular vision check, front and back eye health check with pupil dilation and assessment of myopic-related eye diseases, axial length biometer for myopic progression and risk analysis and optical coherence tomography (OCT) scan.

Medicare rebate $30-$60

Contact Lens Consultations from $160*

Vision testing with prescription check for glasses and contact lenses. Comprehensive anterior eye assessment and selection of suitable contact lens. Contact lens teach and demonstration of how to wear and care for contact lenses. Includes one fitting and one aftercare appointment.
*Additional aftercare appointments are $40.

Additional Consultation Fees*

Ocular Coherence Tomography $50
The OCT scan allows visualisation of the structures such as the cornea and retina to uncover sight threatening diseases. These diseases are often undetected because they are hidden beneath the retinal surface and is not visible to the naked eye. (No radiation involved)
Corneal Topography $40
This technology produces a detailed visual description of the shape and power of the cornea. It provides very fine details regarding the corneal surface to fit contact lenses, as well as diagnose and monitor various corneal conditions.
Axial Length Ocular Biometry $40
This measures the entire length of the eye. It is a valuable measurement in monitoring the success of myopia treatments.
